IdentityTube
This video describes identity in the sense of commitment, hard work, discipline, and results. This particular movie is one of my favorite video clips of Ronnie Coleman, an eight time Mr. Olympia winner. It shows how committed Coleman is to being the best bodybuilder he possibly can. He spends countless hours in the gym every day, and fully devotes his life to his sport. Next, bodybuilding takes more hard work than any other sport in the world. Sports gradually can become tolerable, or second nature in a way. If you don’t continue to push your body to its limits every single time you lift, you will hit a plateau and cease to grow.
Another aspect: discipline, is possibly one of the most important concepts involved with bodybuilding. You can’t work one day, then take off the next. You have to learn to be willing to sacrifice, and push yourself every day. In addition, if you are a true bodybuilder, it enters into every facet of life. How you train, learn, eat, and go about your day to day life all revolves around your discipline and commitment to the bodybuilding lifestyle. Furthermore, this video displays results. If you continue to do the things previously mentioned in this blog, you will eventually get noticeable results, in the weight that you lift and your appearance. Don’t be in a rush though, results (if naturally made) do not come easily or quickly. In conclusion, this video depicts many different aspects that can be related to a person’s identity. All of the concepts in this video can be used to show one’s identity in some sort of fashion.
