I Heart Music

I love music. The passion and interest I have for it has trickled down from my brother transport (who has a commercial music major) over the course of my life. Music has always had the power tome to another world during its playtime. No matter what mood I am in, music can release me of that trap and solve my problems. Along the same lines, music has the power to put you into any possibly mood, depending on the song you select. Another stunning power that music contains within itself, is that it can transcend any cultural or linguistic barrier amongst people, and give them a connection deeper than any possible conversation could. It doesn’t matter what political party you are affiliated with, which/how many Gods you worship, how you carry out your day to day decision making; but, if you share a common musical interest with another human being, than for those five minutes of the song, you two might as well be best friends. Music allows you to put away all your differences and unite people through its melody, rhythmic patterns, and lyrics. For those specific reasons, I love music. Another great aspect about music is that you can find any song to fit your needs. If you a somber song to set a calming mood, you can find it. If you need hard rock/metal to listen to while you are working out to motivate you, boom it’s done. I could not imagine what my life would be like without the presence of music. Out of the twenty to twenty-one hours I am awake every day, I have music playing for at least fifteen hours. It calms me down, and brings me to this state of mind that is like any other. Music is without a doubt a major love in my life, and will continue to be for the rest of my life.
