Welcome to my three favorite homes on earth: Fallingwater, Hearst Castle, and the Biltmore Estate. Before entering college, my parents took me on three annual trips to places of my choice. Being the avid architecture fan that I am, I chose the three most spectacular works of art that I know of. All three of these households contain aspects that I absolutely love. Fallingwater, it’s easy, I love how the house is built over the waterfall. Hearst Castle, I love the fact that from anywhere on the property you can see the Pacific Ocean, and the lot of land it is on is priceless. Biltmore Estate is known for its sheer size. At 430,000 sq. ft., it is the largest privately owned home in America, and it sits on a 125,000-acre tract of land. I could write all day about my experiences at each of these homes, but I simply wanted to show all of you a little bit more of the passion I have for architecture, and three tremendous examples of perfection.
