The Punisher

The Punisher is an emotionally gripping film. At the beginning of the movie, we see a man reunited with his wife and son after being away for a long period of time due to his military duties. Shortly after, during a family reunion at a beautiful beach house, his entire family is brutally murdered by a group of men. These men followed the orders of their boss’ wife, who ordered the execution of his family because of an illegitimate reason. After his entire family has been killed, the man is shot multiple times, beat up, and left for dead on a burning boat dock.

Shockingly, the man survives this grotesque series of events. After recovering and becoming stronger than he was before (with a newly acquainted passion for redemption), he is determined to punish those who destroyed his life forever.

Thus, for the duration of the film is a depiction of the preparation and methods that Frank Castle (the husband) uses to kill off those who were involved.
