This past Monday, my brother got a puppy. The puppy’s name is Bonham, named after John Bonham, the drummer for Led Zeppelin. He is only nine weeks old, and he is the newest addition to the Eggan family. Since he was just added to the family a week ago, I have not seen him yet. I only have seen pictures of him, which hardly do him justice. From what I have seen, he is one of the cutest dogs I have ever witnessed.
In a manner that has no intention of being rude or cruel, Bonham looks like a dork. I love that about him. He just seems like he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, and that he has a fantastic personality. I love dogs that have a doggie sense of humor.
In my dream world, I would drive home right now just so I can see him and pet him. In addition, I want him to see me, because I want him to know who I am and how much I already love him. Sadly, this is the real world, and it will be another seven weeks before I get to hold him. This isn’t fun, because he will no longer be a true puppy, at least in my book, and some of his cute factor will be diminished. However, with the recent gift my family has received in the past week, it gives me yet another reason to anxiously await Thanksgiving break.
